We celebrate the love and joy of playing beach tennis in Los Angeles.
Beach Tennis Love was started by passionate players right here on the sand—between the lifeguard towers and the beach boardwalk—where we’re always down for one more game.
We’re a team of beach tennis players, fans, and gear geeks dedicated to one simple mission: celebrating and growing beach tennis love (addiction) in Los Angeles and beyond.
BTL Trivia
Beach Tennis Love began in a local Whatsapp group and t-shirt graphic—the Anti Beach Tennis Beach Tennis Club. The Beach Tennis Love ball logo is an ironic nod to our pure and simple love of beach tennis behind the sarcasm, addiction, and frustration. We like making graphic designs, so we made a few more ideas, and thought it’d be cool to put them all in one place. We added local beach tennis info and gear to make it more useful, and boom: Beach Tennis Love. You’re welcome :)

We believe Beach Tennis is the coolest sport on earth (calm down, pickleball) and we want everyone to play. That’s why we’ve built this community hub.

About Our Founder
Efrain likes to play beach tennis. He’s an avid player on the Santa Monica beach tennis courts, and a trusted resource for local beach tennis info and gear.
Efrain learned about beach tennis during the Venice Beach Games, played his first game, and quickly became addicted. His old love for ping pong was stirred by the smack-and-forth nature of beach tennis. He found himself often going to the empty Santa Monica courts, hitting and practicing serves by himself.
Approximately 7 paddles and 17,987,000 games later, Efrain still plays for the love the game, and encourages everyone he meets on the sand to do the same.
